growth.<br \/>\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Supervisor<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lekki Phase I, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Project Managers\/Project Officers in the implementation of projects in the field as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Project Supervisors will be responsible for medium or large projects or substantial components of larger projects<\/li>\n<li>To be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of project site(s) assigned and to carry out associated administrative duties<\/li>\n<li>To be responsible for the documentation of an construction project site development<\/li>\n<li>To assist with the design and successful completion of a project within budget and agreed timescale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To contribute to and support positive morale within the project team<\/li>\n<li>To be professional and polite at all times and to uphold the standards, values and reputation of the project team, vendors and public interactions<\/li>\n<li>Other duties appropriate to the post as may be required<\/li>\n<li>To work in accordance with the requirements of THE PLACE Health and Safety Policy<\/li>\n<li>To supervise and undertake construction projects, including working briefs and on-site evaluations<\/li>\n<li>To complement the work of a multi-disciplinary project team and to provide members of the team with appropriate encouragement, guidance and feedback on that work in accordance with relevant project documentation and office procedures<\/li>\n<li>To assist the Project Team in the successful completion of construction projects within time and budget and to the required standard<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that site records and summaries are lodged with the Project archive in accordance with organization procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree level education in a relevant subject or substantial practical experience<\/li>\n<li>Post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of project designs\/method statements<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of desk-based assessments<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing small to medium sized teams of artisans.<\/li>\n<li>Substantial construction field work experience on sites of various periods and types<\/li>\n<li>Experience and understanding of construction methodology<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of various projects types<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of project reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skills in people management<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and experience of Health &amp; Safety<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of construction processes.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent prioritization and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English language communication
