We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Content Writer and Communications Executive<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Business Development, Communications and Advocacy Department<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do you live and breathe writing? We would like to receive your application for Content Writer and Communications Executive.<\/li>\n<li>This role will be Agromall\u2019s go-to person for content creations and communications strategy on all Agromall online and offline communication channels. He\/she will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories on both digital and print sources of Agromall marketing and communications media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nOperational and Technical Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)<\/li>\n<li>Update website content as needed<\/li>\n<li>Create, write and manage user documentation for company products.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and manage corporate style guide and terminology conventions.<\/li>\n<li>Execute internal processes to create documentation and content.<\/li>\n<li>Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)<\/li>\n<li>Create new content to assist company brand awareness campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Write clear marketing copy to promote our products\/services<\/li>\n<li>Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Proofread and edit blog posts before publication<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles<\/li>\n<li>Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic<\/li>\n<li>Promote content on social media<\/li>\n<li>Identify customers\u2019 needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Technical Skills, Competencies, Working Relationships<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation and Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>2 to 5 years\u2019 proven work experience as a content writer, copywriter or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Proven portfolio of published articles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with web publications<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and editing skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)<\/li>\n<li>Content Creation and Writing<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Social Skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SEO<\/li>\n<li>Consumer Engagement<\/li>\n<li>Experience doing research using multiple sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem Solving: Job requires Identifying, analyzing, organizing and solving issues and reported problems in a timely and effective manner.<\/li>\n<li>Team Work: Job requires effective collaboration between team members and peers<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (Written, Verbal, and Presentation): Job requires good oral and written communication skills to effectively express ideas and facts.<\/li>\n<li>Creativity: Job requires the use of diverse perspective, to improve the effectiveness of the company\u2019s brand and communication programs.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Relationships:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal within the Business Development, Communications and Advocacy Department, Head of Business, Advocacy and Communication and other unit Heads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Condition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office Environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/zifHDSPc6sxFia9k1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th April, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AgroMall is at the intersection of digitised agricultural production support, digitised agricultural extension and digital financial services.
