We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head, Inventory and Procurement<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect the levels of business supplies and materials to identify shortages.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with maintenance, inventory employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.<\/li>\n<li>Track and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.<\/li>\n<li>Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.<\/li>\n<li>Assess, manage and mitigate inventory and procurement related risks.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stock adequacy for all distribution requests and can cover direct demand.<\/li>\n<li>Record all deliveries to reconcile inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Use Technology to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze data to anticipate future needs.<\/li>\n<li>Determine quality, quantity and timing of deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, lead and execute inventory purchases and purchasing strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, risks, forecasts etc.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver on task(s) that may be assigned by supervisor(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of ten (10) years work experience with at least 5 in core Inventory\/ Procurement\/Maintenance role.<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership or Management experience.<\/li>\n<li>A knack for negotiation and networking.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience of vendor management software.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Solid judgement along with decision making skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mind with good math skills.<\/li>\n<li>A BSc\/ HND from an accredited tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CMILT, PMP, CPIM) will be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible candidates should forward their CVs with the job title (Head, Inventory and Procurement) as the email subject.<\/li>\n<li>Only Eligible candidates will be contacted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@thegiggroupng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>jobs@thegiggroupng.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God Is Good Motors (GIGM) \u2013 Incorporated in 1998, we have, through strategic initiatives, revolutionized land transportation in Nigeria.
