FIPL presently needs Account officers to join her workforce. We are is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Account Officer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<strong><br \/>\nPurpose Statements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide timely, accurate and up to date financial information to enhance the decision making of the organization as far as finance and accounts is concerned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciliation of statutory accounts (PAYE, WHT, VAT and Pension)<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly accrual journals<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly prepayment journals<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of the property, plant and equipment register<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate Filing documents, Month end accounts and all reconciled ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of statutory accounts (PAYE, WHT, VAT and Pension)<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly accrual journals<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly prepayment journals<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of the property, plant and equipment register<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate Filing documents, Month end accounts and all reconciled ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Any other accounting function(s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualification \/ Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting Graduate with at least 1 years post NYSC work experience in similar role<\/li>\n<li>Must have started certification process for ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge\/Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good\/Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of accounting packages\/software<\/li>\n<li>Requires minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be creative in doing the mundane<\/li>\n<li>Effective time and resources management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personality Traits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quick thinker<\/li>\n<li>Confidence and Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Inventory Team Lead<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> The Chief Finance Officer<br \/>\n<strong>Purpose Statements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide timely, accurate and up-to-date records of FIPL warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>To design inventory management plans that will help in streamlining the orders received thereby reducing unnecessary wastage of valuable time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance of up to date and accurate bin card<\/li>\n<li>Receipt and documentation of inventory<\/li>\n<li>Proper storage and systematic arrangement of store items<\/li>\n<li>Issue of inventory taking shelf life into account<\/li>\n<li>Weekly inventory report to management<\/li>\n<li>Monthly inventory report to management<\/li>\n<li>Tracking of asset obsolescence and timely communication to Finance and Procurement departments of same<\/li>\n<li>Timely provision of all key information on inventory to management as requested<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nMinimum Qualification \/ Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Accounting\/Engineering (Mandatory)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience (2 of which is in a supervisory position)<\/li>\n<li>Must have started certification process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge\/Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good\/Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Proficient knowledge of an ERP<\/li>\n<li>Requires minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in spoken and written English<\/li>\n<li>Effective time and resources management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personality Traits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quick thinker<\/li>\n<li>Confidence and Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills\/Detail oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saharagrouplimitednigeria.applytojob.com\/apply\/jobs\/?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First Independent Power Limited (FIPL) is a Power Generation company located in Rivers state with 4 simple gas turbine power plants with a total capacity of 541MW.
