Applications are invited for the program below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sabbatical Attachment for University Lecturers<br \/>\nDuration:<\/strong>\u00a012 months (non renewable)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The sabbatical attachemnt offers University lecturers from the rank of Senior Lecturer and above an opportunity to undertake research or other activities that would contribute to Shell Companies in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>It also offers them avenue to acquire industry-related experience and lectureship at any of the SPDC JV centres of Excellence (CoE)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Teams \/ Discipline\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environment: Impact Assessment, Biodiversity, Environmental Management, and Ecotoxicology\/Biostatistics.<\/li>\n<li>External Relations: Social Performance \u2013 Social Impact Assessment and GMoU Implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Community Health: Consultant Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology and Pediatrics.<\/li>\n<li>Exploration: Geology and Geophysics.<\/li>\n<li>Oil Spill Response: Groundwater Remediation and Mangrove Re-planting &amp; Management.<\/li>\n<li>UniBen CoE: Geology and Petroleum Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Nigerian Content Development: Process and Project Engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Postgraduate Research Internship for University Students<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong>12 months (non-renewable).<strong><br \/>\nDescription<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Postgraduate Research Internship provides opportunities for Nigerian post graduate students (M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D) to gain industry related work experience and carry out topical research within Shell Companies in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team \/ Discipline<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environment: Impact Assessment, Botany\/Revegetation, Biology \/Chemistry, and Environmental Management.<\/li>\n<li>Occupational Health: Occupational Health<\/li>\n<li>Oil Spill Response: Eco-friendly Bio-remediation.<\/li>\n<li>Strategy and Value Assurance: ICT, Computer Data Analysis and Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates are expected to submit the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A duly signed one-page application letter stating team\/discipline of interest.<\/li>\n<li>A Curriculum Vitae including, applicant\u2019s phone number, email address, as well as three referees with their contact information.<\/li>\n<li>A titled one-page summary of how the candidate intends to add value to the SPDC\u2019s business during the 1 2-month sabbatical attachment.<\/li>\n<li>Scanned copy of the data page of applicant\u2019s international passport or National Driver\u2019s Licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All documents should be sent to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:SPDC-University-Liaision-Relations@shell.com\"><strong>SPDC-University-Relations@shell.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants should not send any additional document apart from those listed under \u201cMethod of Application.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Applications from persons who have previously benefited from the sabbatical leave attachment in any Shell Companies will not be considered.
