NNPC Nigeria recruits<strong> Trainee Operators 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The appointee will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned plants on a shift basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate the process and service units within the prescribed limits to achieve production targets for quantity and quality, safely and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Execute on a daily basis, routine and non-routine operations for the assigned area taking due care to implement all HSE consideration for the activity<\/li>\n<li>Prepare equipment for maintenance in accordance with appropriate procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participate in shutdowns<\/li>\n<li>Manage process and service unit\u2019s start-ups and shutdowns competently without affecting units that are to remain online<\/li>\n<li>Undertake constant evaluation of plant-operating conditions so abnormalities are promptly resolved<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective start-of-shift orientation and shift handover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The right candidate should:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND)\/National Diploma (ND) in Chemical, Process, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit<\/li>\n<li>Have graduated in the last 5 years<\/li>\n<li>Not more than 29 years old<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/recruitment.nnpcgroup.com\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=50&amp;Itemid=62\">Click here to Apply Online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is the state oil corporation through which the federal government of Nigeria regulates and participates in the country&#8217;s petroleum industry.
