Often seen as the biggest single generating power station in Sub-Saharan Africa, it was built to meet the every rising demand for electricity in Lagos and its environs.<\/p>\n<p>Following the nation\u2019s privatization exercise, Sahara, through its power division, Sahara Power Group and sundry affiliations, acquired the 1320 MW installed capacity Egbin Power Plant. We are working towards deploying a minimum of 5,000 MW of electricity generation over the next five years. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Store Inventory Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Ikorodu, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Job holder will be responsible for operations related to inventory management<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative assistance to the department as required<\/li>\n<li>Departmental Reports- Generate the required weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually reports\/presentations<\/li>\n<li>Provide comprehensive, effective and efficient support to team members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory levels to ascertain reorder levels<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all safety procedures required in the warehouse<\/li>\n<li>To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items going out of the warehouse so as to<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accuracy and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for handling the stores data centre and building of inventory material database (warehouse material list).<\/li>\n<li>To supervise the offloading process and subsequent arrangement of materials and<\/li>\n<li>consignment to ensure safe custody so that it can be accessed and identified easily<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of physical stock with stock in the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Work Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OND Holders Only<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 Yrs. relevant experience in a similar role\/function<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of computerize store inventory management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of computerized inventory management system (added advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative<\/li>\n<li>Good oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal Relationship skill<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Inventory management<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Exceptional in the use of Excel a must)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.sahara-group.com\/apply\/tC9t4Fe95H\/Store-Inventory-Officer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Egbin Power Plc.
