We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Volunteer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions<br \/>\n<\/strong>We are currently in need of volunteers interested in volunteering in the following areas below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social media and Publicity<\/li>\n<li>Community services<\/li>\n<li>Project Management support<\/li>\n<li>Teaching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Purpose of this Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To assist the Library, supporting the organization in achieving long term goals, thereby improving your set skills to becoming better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planing, organizing and implementing.<\/li>\n<li>Any other associated tasks as required for the role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience Required \/ Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reliable, confident and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and effective interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to cope with the duties and responsibilities of the post and the associated environment, including an understanding of health &amp; safety.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification: BA\/BSc\/HND<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively, verbally with library staff, other volunteers and members of the public, especially children.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of working with children and participating in children\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training Available:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A one morning induction and introduction to the library and Library Services.<\/li>\n<li>Shadowing sessions with other library staff to gain confidence and knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 2 months commitment is required.<\/li>\n<li>A credible reference will be needed as the role involves interaction with children.<\/li>\n<li>Must be available for at least 20 hours a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/y42rp8kb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>18th May 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Young Readers Library \u2013 A book club that ignites the reader within your child, builds language, vocabulary, Comprehension among other skills.
