We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Logistics Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to hire a skilled Logistics Manager<\/li>\n<li>He or she will be responsible and accountable for all the activities within the Logistics team and the Warehouses; and for the delivery of stock transactions to Customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and Coach the Territory based Warehouse Supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for cost management and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Own the Customs clearance and documentation process (even if performed by the third party).<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate Logistics and suppliers\u2019\/transporters processes<\/li>\n<li>Monitor performance via prescribed KPIs and report\/investigate deviances to KPIs at Country \/ Territory level<\/li>\n<li>Carry out performance reviews in line with Company Standard Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Agree on day-to-day workload and allocate the correct level of resource to meet this workload.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange and contribute to the training and development of members of staff within the Logistics team.<\/li>\n<li>Discuss and agree on work practices, procedures, and processes with Management and operatives, with a view to ensure continual improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the performance of all Warehouses in their appointed territories.<\/li>\n<li>Continual improvement of the Logistics network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Professional Certifications in Supply Chain and Logistics<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional planning, communication, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player and ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree or it\u2019s equivalent in any discipline<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s Degree will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>7 years experience in domestic and international logistics and warehouse related roles.
