The company was founded in 2002, since inception, Swift Networks has invested heavily in \u201cnext generation\u201d networking technologies to build a multi-service network platform.<\/p>\n<p>Due to rapid expansion we are looking for a qualified candidate to fill a strategic business position as we maintain our status as the leading broadband connectivity services provider in Nigeria. Uniquely, the work environment offers a first class condition with a very attractive remuneration package. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0IT Auditor &amp; Risk Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful candidate must be able to display a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including IT risks and controls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share expertise and experience with the audit team and acts as a coach on specific projects.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the annual Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities by testing and evaluating effectiveness of key SOX control activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in special projects by conducting specific and technical review \/ investigation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential threats to the financial stability of the company, including risky credit, investments, and portfolio inefficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Detect potential threats to operational efficiency including underperforming resources, personnel liabilities, property inefficiencies, and safety risks.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize potential threats to the company\u2019s reputation including marketing missteps.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintains internal and external data gathering for risk analysis and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implements methods for avoiding potential threats using available risk metric software and personal knowledge of the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver regular risk analysis reports to company executives complete with actionable plans for avoiding or preventing potential threats at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate programs designed to minimize threats and anticipate threats to the company.<\/li>\n<li>Develop insurance strategies and financing techniques to appropriately deal with any unanticipated losses.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all audits of accounting practices, safety measures, and compliance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular risk assessments either through a team of risk management experts or personally on site.<\/li>\n<li>Manages and prepares all documentation related to risk assessments and reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).<\/li>\n<li>Assess IT risks and internal control strengths and weaknesses.<\/li>\n<li>Develop audit work program;<\/li>\n<li>Execute the work outlined in the audit work program.<\/li>\n<li>Document the work performed and conclusions in electronic work papers.<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of integrated audit teams.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly interact and communicate with management to discuss and present audit results, gain acceptance and provide advice to remediate on audit issues.<\/li>\n<li>Advise IT and business stakeholders on control best practices within their processes to reduce risks and improve efficiency and financial profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The job holder MUST have a Bachelor\u2019s Degree 2nd Class honours (Upper division) in Computer, Finance, Information Technology or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years\u2019 post qualification in a reputable organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a Master\u2019s Degree and relevant professional certification i.e. (CISA) will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to innovate, prioritize and implement effectively<\/li>\n<li>Highly proficient and versatile in the use of technology<\/li>\n<li>High level of honesty and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of information<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little or no supervision<\/li>\n<li>Goal oriented and needs to be focused<\/li>\n<li>Teams Dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Supervision and Coaching<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational, analytical and communication<\/li>\n<li>Extremely detail oriented<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial and control management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a dynamic, pressurized work environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/1305578573\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swift Networks Limited is a facilities-based telecommunications services provider.
