We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Executive<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Location<\/strong>: Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with International Oil Companies (IOCs), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Companies and other profitable organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Build customer profile by identifying immediate and long term goals.<\/li>\n<li>Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create a Customer Relationship Plan per group.<\/li>\n<li>Collate client \u2013 specific intelligence and produce weekly reports.<\/li>\n<li>Generate Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO) to agreed target.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Collate and communicate business intelligence, coach other BDEs.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tenders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full payment for all supplies and services.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile customers\u2019 accounts and ensure proper documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable high volume customers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend as most appropriate, technical assistance for key customers.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular updates on plans and progress.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate consistent business development success and target \u2013 driven achievement, helps bring junior team members up to speed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good university degree.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6-10 years\u2019 experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of the Nigerian Oil Industry (Upstream sector).<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to advise clients.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of winning businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Proven account management experience in the oil industry.<\/li>\n<li>Direct sales and marketing experience into EPC companies.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter and a self-motivator.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation and sales skills.<\/li>\n<li>Sound computing skills (minimum Microsoft Office).<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Sound contacts in the IOCs and E&amp;P Companies.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship management skill.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to meet business financial targets.<\/li>\n<li>Information sourcing and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and control.<\/li>\n<li>Products knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Result-orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Team player.<\/li>\n<li>Time management.<\/li>\n<li>Customer focus.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@wdcl.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruitment@wdcl.net<\/strong><\/a>Using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the mail<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>6th September, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Western Development Company Limited (WDCL) is an independent limited liability company, established in Nigeria for over 13 years ago.
