We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nJob Title:\u00a0Head, Document MGT<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> 19000047<br \/>\n<strong>Organization:<\/strong> Technology and Services<br \/>\n<strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Regular<br \/>\n<strong>Shift:<\/strong> Standard<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Grade Range \u2013 From :<\/strong> Manager\u00a0 Grade Range \u2013 To : Principal Manager<strong><br \/>\nDescription<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement Document and Records Management Standards, Policies, Procedures for First Bank and subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement a Document &amp; Records management governance structure and Terms of Reference.<\/li>\n<li>Define and ensure compliance with facility\/ maintenance, access control and safety standards for each archive and document control centre<\/li>\n<li>Provide support, training, or direct technical assistance services in document, records information management, and archives administration to First Bank and subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Collect and provide adequate storage of Bank Artifact and Legacy items<\/li>\n<li>Ensure development of a robust framework for electronic records and content management, and implement the framework<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement record keeping and records retention plans for the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate oversight of vendors in compliance with the bank\u2019s vendor management policies<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the Archive and Records management teams to provide a high-quality customer-focused and continually improving records and archives management service to the Bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/ other academic qualification in Library, Archival &amp; Information Sciences, with strong Information Systems knowledge\/experience.<\/li>\n<li>Broad\/deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of document &amp; records legislation, frameworks &amp; policy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to develop effective relationships with staff\/external stakeholders, and a customer focused approach to service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Very high levels of oral and written expression, and IT literacy, and the ability to work under considerable pressure and to tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum 6 years cognate experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think strategically and innovatively, including a demonstrable capacity to proactively identify and respond to relevant records management issues of both long-term and immediate importance to the Bank<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to formulate and offer clear and practical advice on policy issues relating to document &amp; records mgt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/firstbanknigeria.taleo.net\/careersection\/jobdetail.ftl?job=19000047\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank) is Nigeria\u2019s largest financial services institution by total assets and gross earnings.
