{"id":75257,"date":"2019-06-07T13:36:09","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T12:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=75257"},"modified":"2019-06-07T13:36:41","modified_gmt":"2019-06-07T12:36:41","slug":"adexen-recruitment-agency-current-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/adexen-recruitment-agency-current-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Adexen Recruitment Agency Current Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading Civil Engineering and Construction Company in Nigeria to recruit a qualified candidate to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager \u2013 Expatriate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are in need of an expatriate Project Manager to supervise a construction project in Lagos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor adherence to the procedures described in the project management manual<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full coordination and effective implementation of Health, Safety &amp; Environmental processes and protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within the project.<\/li>\n<li>The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising the aluminium facade engineering and construction operations handled by a contractor.<\/li>\n<li>Overall responsibility for the supervision of the contractor :<\/li>\n<li>Plan, direct, coordinate the execution of the construction phase and achieving contract deliverables and outcomes within fundamental parameters of time, quality and cost<\/li>\n<li>Regular meetings with the contrator<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and support to the project team to ensure project meets specification<\/li>\n<li>Oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Formulates reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that contractual deliverables are produced and issued on time and in compliance with the requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical reasoning &amp; commercial acumen tested in a similar environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with cost control and forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in Africa is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or degree in Construction Management.
