We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title: 2019 Foreign Postgraduate Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><br \/>\nAs part of our Human Resource Development initiatives, NDDC is embarking on Postgraduate Foreign Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Local Content programme of the current Administration as well as compete globally in various professional fields. The Scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor\u2019s\/Master\u2019s Degrees from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environmental Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Management sciences<\/li>\n<li>ICT<\/li>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>Humanities<\/li>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural Science<\/li>\n<li>Law<\/li>\n<li>Medical Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Geosciences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master\u2019s Degree programme and a good Master\u2019s Degree for Ph.D candidates from a recognized University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have gained admission for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a foreign University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who have already enrolled in Overseas\u2019 Universities are NOT eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantor\u2019s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant\u2019s community\/clan:<\/li>\n<li>Member of National Assembly\/State House of Assembly<\/li>\n<li>Chairman of the LGA<\/li>\n<li>First Class Traditional Ruler<\/li>\n<li>High Court Judge<\/li>\n<li>Persons with evidence of cult membership or criminal record shall not be considered for the award.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To attachments:\n<ul>\n<li>Recent passport photograph<\/li>\n<li>Local Government Identification Letter.<\/li>\n<li>Post Graduate Admission Letter from a recognised Overseas University.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Degrees from a recognized University.<\/li>\n<li>N.Y.S.C Discharge\/Exemption Certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Successfully completed application forms will be assigned registration numbers automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>4th July, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The commission will not enter into any form of communication with candidates who were not shortlisted for the Computer Based Test (CBT) or those who were not invited for oral interview or candidates that were not successful at the oral interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Preference would be given to candidates from oil producing\/bearing communities\/local government areas as long as candidates meet the approved cut off mark.<\/li>\n<li>The commission will ensure a fair spread of courses among beneficiaries within each state.<\/li>\n<li>Deferment, change of institution and course are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>The commission reserves the sole and absolute discretion to select applicants in line with the above stated criteria and its internal consideration.\u00a0 the decision of the commission in this regard is final.<\/li>\n<li>All shortlisted applicants will be posted on the NDDC
