{"id":75731,"date":"2019-06-20T14:42:41","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T13:42:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=75731"},"modified":"2019-06-19T15:52:25","modified_gmt":"2019-06-19T14:52:25","slug":"lohi-consulting-current-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/lohi-consulting-current-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Lohi Consulting Current Employment Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lohi Consulting provides management consulting services for businesses striving to excel and desiring to partner with solution providers in their quest to reach the pinnacle.<br \/>\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chartered Accountant<br \/>\nJob Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDetails<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Accountant is responsible for all aspects of accounting; reporting and compliance, disbursements, cash management, revenue recognition, tax filings and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>This role will support management in a variety of operational decisions to accomplish various finance activities and to ensure seamless financial operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist external auditors in carrying out annual financial audit of the company and ensure accounting processes and procedures complies with statutory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Actively partner with other departments to build scalable processes and drive best practices<\/li>\n<li>Ensures a periodic review of company\u2019s accounts and budgets<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other assignment as may be delegated by the Managing Director\/CEO<\/li>\n<li>Determine and prepare yearly financial budget based on company\u2019s strategy<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain processes for achieving yearly financial budget, cost control and reduction<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement financial policies and internal control procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely remittances of statutory payments including VAT, income tax, PAYE, withholding tax, pension, NSITF etc.<\/li>\n<li>Raise vouchers\/ expense booklet to monitor and control expenses<\/li>\n<li>Maintain petty cash book<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate maintenance of financial statements and accounting records<\/li>\n<li>Forecast cash flow position and available funds for investment<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial reports including cash flows, profit or loss account, balance sheet etc<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update client\u2019s records and ensure daily checks on company\u2019s accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Attributes and Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and practices<\/li>\n<li>Financial reporting and management\u2013 effectiveness in managing budgets and financial forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>First degree\/HND in Accounting and membership with ICAN\/ACCA is a requirement<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five years\u2019 work experience in a related position<\/li>\n<li>High level integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and financial information<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruit@lohiconsult.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruit@lohiconsult.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>25th June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lohi Consulting provides management consulting services for businesses striving to excel and desiring to partner with solution providers in their quest to reach the pinnacle.
