We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Procurement Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Procurement Supervisor he or she manages the Procurement team by planning, prioritizing, assigning and reviewing the work of the Procurement team; ensuring compliance to set standards for health and safety, procurement operations and documentation; detailing and conducting training of procurement staff.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding, interpreting, administering and explaining laws and regulations governing procurement; maintaining and managing a sizeable network of suppliers\/collectors; administrative functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update and send daily reports to superiors on collections, collectors, outstanding;<\/li>\n<li>Review and expedite purchase orders;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and escalate collector complaints;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and update procedure manuals and documents;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with local associations or unions to register collectors and guarantors;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with local associations or unions to follow up on defaulting collectors;<\/li>\n<li>Plan for and ensure optimum availability of personnel for daily procurement activities;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare yearly requirements for budget;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee onboarding of new collectors ensuring compliance to onboarding procedures and documentation;<\/li>\n<li>Seek out process improvement opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties assigned by management.<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory responsibility for procurement team;<\/li>\n<li>Champion the implementation of goals, procedures, policies and priorities for procurement activities and operations;<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidelines, explain and interpret requirements as well as plan trainings;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to procurement procedures and documentation throughout the procurement process;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to health and safety standards where applicable during procurement process;<\/li>\n<li>Plan daily schedule for collections;<\/li>\n<li>Build, carry on close relationship with, and maintain a network of suppliers\/collectors;<\/li>\n<li>Develop sourcing strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Continually monitor, evaluate and improve supplier\/collector performance according to appropriate service level agreement;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update collector database;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Social Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a procurement or similar role (Preferably in e-waste management) with supervisory and administrative responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Drivers licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Above-market remuneration<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance benefits<\/li>\n<li>Career growth potential<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/%20https\/\/sunray.workable.com\/jobs\/914345\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Green Compass (GC) Recycling Limited is a member of Sunray Ventures sets up dedicated collection networks for e-waste, registers and supports informal value chain participants and develops processing facilities for&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[31,57],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
