MKOBO was conceived to help solve consumers\u2019 need for access to short-term emergency credit. Our goal is to provide access to short term unsecured loans, which is easily accessible.<\/p>\n<p>We cater to the demography currently undeserved by the Commercial banks in our aim to help increase financial inclusion of the Nigerian population. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Full Stack Ruby Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Ruby on Rails Developer you will be working alongside the product teams to make the products we build are rock-solid and scalable.<\/li>\n<li>It is the perfect opportunity for someone who is experienced in creating dynamic web applications and passionate about clean code and is looking for a long term contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Design:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Devops: improve automation of the software development process.<\/li>\n<li>Identify performance issues and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.<\/li>\n<li>Take wireframes\/mockups and user stories and build systems that meet the requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Create user-friendly web app interfaces by working closely with UX designers and front-end developers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop<\/li>\n<li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Collaborate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with other team members to ensure we are building the right product.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Pair-program with other developers or discuss possible technical architectures<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to creating a culture of writing excellent software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat we are looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years\u2019 experience developing production applications with Ruby on Rails<\/li>\n<li>Expert in HTML, CSS &amp; JS<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of SQL (MySQL\/PostgreSQL)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB\/CouchDB\/ElasticSearch)<\/li>\n<li>Passion for good user experience<\/li>\n<li>Passion for technology<\/li>\n<li>Superb organisational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>University degree in Informational Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A friendly, open-minded and collaborative team working closely with the CTO<\/li>\n<li>Autonomy, we don\u2019t micromanage our teams<\/li>\n<li>Challenging environment \u2013 you will be working on complex projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:silver_peace89@yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>silver_peace89@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using \u201cRoR Developer\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st July 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MKOBO is a fully licensed Microfinance bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lagos, Nigeria.
