We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Pre-press Manager<br \/>\nJob Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> General Manager<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSummary of Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubleshooting prepress problems or addressing management or customer concerns<\/li>\n<li>Managing shift Activities of Pre press operations.<\/li>\n<li>Generate Weekly &amp; Monthly report<\/li>\n<li>Preflighting \u2013 preparing of files for job planning<\/li>\n<li>Platemaking, inventory management and control of supplies and materials such as films, inks, alcohols, plates etc<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for examining and ensuring conformity to job specifications and company standards.<\/li>\n<li>Will also oversee maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational and Professional Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND PRINTING or degree in relevant discipline with background in graphic design or printing technology and hands-on experience working with printing equipment. .<\/li>\n<li>Five to seven years cognate work experience with at least 2yrs in a large scale commercial printing organization at a senior level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skill Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good sight and attention to detail for colour and text proofing<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure without making errors<\/li>\n<li>Work under minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in use of Corel Draw, Adobe, Quark, Photoshop, Indesign, Pit shop , Prinect Imposing software (from Heidelberg)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of process chemistry of Developing plates, Operating of Heidelberg CTP machine and Processers<\/li>\n<li>Graphic communications, , commercial printing processes, math, lithography, and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills for taking orders and responding to orders of internal and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resume to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@workplacecentre.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>careers@workplacecentre.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with Role _ Location (Pre-Press Manager _Lagos) applying for as subject<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th July, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Workplace Centre Limited \u2013 We are a World Class Skills Development and HR \/ ICT Consulting Services organisation that adds significant value to our clients and society.
