We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nJob Title:\u00a0Maintenance Supervisor \u2013 Electrical<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Calabar, Cross Rivers<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect completed work to ensure that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment problems.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize and assign tasks so that assigned team resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all activities related to the maintenance management of the 50DF engine power plant like:<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate daily electrical and automation maintenance activities at the plant and\/or assigned team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.<\/li>\n<li>Train maintenance procedures and standards for the new workers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools and ensure those are maintained according to applicable<\/li>\n<li>guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer focus and service mind-set also in tough situations is natural to you and the business, market and customer understanding enables you to create and develop customer relationships with long term thinking.<\/li>\n<li>W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 power plant knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem solving ability<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player attitude internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial drive with hunter mind-set<\/li>\n<li>Good experience on power plant project sales, power project development and Operation and Maintenance total solutions experience<\/li>\n<li>BEng\/BTech in Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Languages: English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.wartsila.com\/job\/Calabar-Maintenance-supervisor-Electrical\/539537601\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>19th July, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wartsila is a global leader in smart technologies and complete lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets.
