We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0NYSC \u2013 Intern<br \/>\nJob Location<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We seek qualified NYSC candidates to intern and assist Project Engineers with engineering analysis, design and commissioning of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for young NYSC engineers that have basic knowledge of the solar energy field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and Illustrate system configuration ( SLDs and MLDs using CAD).<\/li>\n<li>Perform extensive surveys and identify energy efficiency and savings opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Understand metering and measurement tools and the data provided.<\/li>\n<li>Understand Sunhive\u2019s project development and implementation methods.<\/li>\n<li>Learn about solar photovoltaic systems, including the ability to perform solar site surveys and calculate potential generation and utility cost savings, and estimating system costs.<\/li>\n<li>Simulate PV system energy production (Excel, PvGIS, Homer, PVSystem,SunnyDesign)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good CAD skills and an ability to read and draw standard line diagrams would be an advantage (Autocad, Sketchup).<\/li>\n<li>Practical and hands-on field experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Good learning skills and a track record of self development<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work without supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Passion for renewable energy and solar energy services<\/li>\n<li>A good degree in Electrical Engineering \/ Renewable Energy Engineering from a Federal university of technology.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with heights &amp; physically fit to carry out site works.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of safety at work practices and be a fast learner.<\/li>\n<li>Good oral and written English language skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Dakrah@sunhive.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Dakrah@sunhive.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunhive was started by Gbenga Kogbe.
