We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Network Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 63<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Information Systems and Technology<br \/>\n<strong>Function:<\/strong>\u00a0 Network Administration and Security<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:\u00a0<\/strong> Head, System Operations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The purpose of the job is to primarily support highly complex systems including the overall administration, security, redundancy of our enterprise network infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Key Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall uptime of network systems<\/li>\n<li>Maintain secure and compliant network processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Other responsibilities as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications &amp; Functional Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2.2\/Upper Credit, Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX, Mac-OS and Windows) environment.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of CCNA certification; CCIE and\/or CISSP an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of software development process, quality control, and impact assessment is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Network Engineer.<\/li>\n<li>An in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of System Network design and management.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and administration of data and VOIP networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in an enterprise environment.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working in a Cyber\/Network Security role would be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with advanced network concepts and technologies: QoS, CoS, VoIP, flow control.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant hands-on experience with the following technology or equivalent: Cisco switches, routers, VPN, VOIP, and wireless access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills to drive organizational change.<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to mentor less experienced engineers<\/li>\n<li>Solid problem solver<\/li>\n<li>Ability to quickly learn and apply new tool sets, technology and concepts<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively; deal with changing priorities, and to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to present information and ideas clearly and succinctly and to explain various application software and hardware to end users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.ipnxnigeria.net\/jobs\/network-administrator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st July, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ipNX is an integrated info-communications company focused on providing every person, every home and every business in Nigeria with world-class information, communication and entertainment services.
