We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nJob Title:\u00a0Business Development Executive<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nBusiness Development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop an overall strategy for business partnership with brands and corporate institutions for large scale purchase.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential new markets and prospective brands for the purpose of establishing a long-term business relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Translate sales strategies into target market\/sector segmentation to achieve business growth targets.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a sales pipeline from lead generation, developing proposal, sales presentation to closing the deal.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate with brands to acquire wholesale accounts, ensuring a mutually beneficial and profitable agreement.<\/li>\n<li>Develop bespoke proposals for prospects with the aim of converting them to partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strategic Partnership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Network and build relationships with key stakeholders from across target sector\/corporate bodies and institutions and the decision makers within the client organisation to drive new business.<\/li>\n<li>Attend industry functions such as association events and conferences to stay informed with market trends.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the continual development of the BrandCo expansion plan by focusing on maximum market penetration and profitability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department to develop sales pitches, clearly articulating the BrandCo value proposition during presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Present to the management on business and market trends with the aim of generating new services, products and distribution channel partners.<\/li>\n<li>Nurture leads to develop interest and inquiry into BrandCo offerings by collaborating with the responsible party to create promotional activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration\/Management\/Economics or any related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 related experience in a structured retail business.<\/li>\n<li>MBA or any relevant training and certification will be added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Market Research and Comparative Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Communication (Written, Verbal &amp; Presentation)<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and multi-tasking skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and Problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Critical Thinking<\/li>\n<li>Business Acumen<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation and Persuasion skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@brand-co.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruitment@brand-co.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Only qualified applicants will be contacted!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>23rd August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BrandCo\u2019s core focus is to identify high-street brands that appeal to the urban African consumer and offer these through world class retail experiences.
