Applications are invited for:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resource Management Trainee<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We arecurrently seeking a talented candidate to work with our Human Capital Development Team. We are offering the successful candidate a twelve (12) month training program at our office in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>We are offering an excellent opportunity to build on your career interest in human resources and to work on a wide range of projects in a fast paced and dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>The Human Capital Development trainee will work closely with the Human Capital Development Manager and to play a crucial role in developing, delivering and implementing HR best practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nIncludes but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing incoming mail<\/li>\n<li>Creating and distributing documents<\/li>\n<li>Providing customer service to organization employees<\/li>\n<li>Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors\/administrators<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data<\/li>\n<li>Setting appointments and arranging meetings<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining calendars of HR management team<\/li>\n<li>Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets<\/li>\n<li>Participating in recruitment efforts<\/li>\n<li>Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process<\/li>\n<li>Collecting employment and tax information<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring background and reference checks are completed<\/li>\n<li>Preparing new employee files<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation<\/li>\n<li>Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Conducting benefit enrollment process<\/li>\n<li>Administering new employment assessments<\/li>\n<li>Serving as a point person for all new employee questions<\/li>\n<li>Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system<\/li>\n<li>Answering payroll questions<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors<\/li>\n<li>Participating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining current HR files and databases<\/li>\n<li>Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions<\/li>\n<li>Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained<\/li>\n<li>Performing payroll\/benefit-related reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Performing payroll and benefits audits and recommending any correction action<\/li>\n<li>Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exist interviews<\/li>\n<li>Assist in co-ordinating travel arrangements and book accommodation for the managing partners<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring the calendars of the managing partners\u2019 are managed effectively, and arrange events as required Carry out any ad hoc requests as directed by the managing partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good academic qualification in Human Resource Management or other related fields<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 0-2 years work experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft office applications<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Human Resource Tools will be an added Advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@brookstone-property.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span class=\"_5yl5\">jobs@brookstone-property.com<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date:\u00a0<\/strong>12th September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brookstone Property is a full service real estate development company.
