We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Corporate Accountant<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to prepare financial statements and oversee our budgeting and forecasting. We\u2019ll rely on you to provide advice to support our company\u2019s decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>You should be reliable and good at math, and be able to communicate effectively with senior management and various departments. We also want you to be detail-oriented, and possess sharp business acumen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gather financial data and ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures<\/li>\n<li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings<\/li>\n<li>Manage periodical reporting<\/li>\n<li>Oversee external and internal audits<\/li>\n<li>Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues<\/li>\n<li>Supervise Junior Accountants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices<\/li>\n<li>In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Keen eye for detail<\/li>\n<li>Organizational and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>BSc\/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA) is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@phyatexintl.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>careers@phyatexintl.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the job title as the subject of the email<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date:\u00a0<\/strong>24th October, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phyatex International provides consulting, training and recruitment services to organisations.
