He ensures that adequate control systems and processes are in place to secure the assets of the organization and efficiently implement the financial policies\/procedures of the Company in line with generally accepted accounting policies.\u00a0 He is to:<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance with the Group\u2019s cost management practices, credit management policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Champion treasury management including analysis and financing for projects and overall capital funding<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the maintenance of fixed assets inventory\/register and performance of annual budget.<\/li>\n<li>Review and endorse capital expenditure requisition for all units within the Group.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee preparation of comprehensive, proactive and timely financial and management information, including tax, cash flow and statutory accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction for the proper management reporting on the performance of the Group.<\/li>\n<li>Design and monitor implementation of systems and controls to ensure compliance with tax and other financial regulatory provisions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the finance function.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise effectively with the external auditors to ensure that efficient audit process is carried out<\/li>\n<li>Oversee consolidated finance budget preparation and develop financial plans and credit policies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company maintains a favourable receivables position.<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial plan and provide financial advisory support to Management and Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in business related discipline is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Professional certification in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of fifteen (15) years\u2019 work experience in Financial Services industry, five (5) of which must be at Senior Management level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of global financial markets, financial accounting, and information management.<\/li>\n<li>Technical competence in financial analysis and interpretation, financial management and corporate finance, tax management, IT systems.<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership and managerial skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven record of capital raising<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship management skills especially in dealing with investors, regulators and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Professionalism and integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whytecleon.com\/career\/chief-financial-officer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date:\u00a0<\/strong>Not Specified<br \/>\n<strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whyte Cleon Limited &#8211; Our client, in the insurance sector seek to engage a highly professional individual for the position below: Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Location:\u00a0Lagos Responsibilities The CFO&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[28],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
