We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Account Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abia<strong><br \/>\nRoles and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nVendor Account Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Takes ownership of vendor account creation and filing for the Aba factory<\/li>\n<li>Clears, maintains and reconciles vendor accounts for the Aba factory<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains supplier accounts for the Aba factory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Accounting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares VAT input on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Assists in asset registration and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Administers and processes all petty cash transactions for the Aba plant<\/li>\n<li>Processes and posts transaction journal entries as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Assists in month end stock count<\/li>\n<li>Maintains financial files and records<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and posts prepaid expenses schedule<\/li>\n<li>Prepares monthly provisions schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nRequired Education:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of First Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Profile<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generic Competencies<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and Budgetary Controls<\/li>\n<li>Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Financial Planning and Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Business Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Statutory Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Accounting Operations<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Development<\/li>\n<li>Financial Control<\/li>\n<li>Detail Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Finance<\/li>\n<li>Professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Treasury Management<\/li>\n<li>Service Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Accounting Information Systems (AIS)<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Technology Application.<\/li>\n<li>Tax Management<\/li>\n<li>HSE Procedures<\/li>\n<li>Cost Analysis &amp; Inventory Management<\/li>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Financial and Management Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and People Management<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Engagement<\/li>\n<li>Operational Effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Application and CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruit@gzican.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruit@gzican.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the \u201cJob title\u201d as the subject of the email<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GZI is the first Alumunium beverage can manufacturing company in\u00a0 West Africa with state of the art factories in Aba, Agbara and South Africa.
