Welcome to Cisco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops and executes sales strategies and tactics that improve Cisco\u2019s opportunity within the customer environment.<\/li>\n<li>Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting.<\/li>\n<li>You will have direct customer contact, building and developing relationships<\/li>\n<li>Presents and leads customer discussions to advance the sales process.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for motivating and developing the Systems Engineers, and Systems Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Defines, communicates and implements the Go to Market strategy for allocated segment \u2013 ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in marketplace.<\/li>\n<li>Works independently, also may act as virtual team leader and\/or mentor.<\/li>\n<li>Develops annual plan for own area in line with company strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Plans specific sales activities including forecasting and organization of resource requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Presents highly complex idea, anticipating key issues and preparing case accordingly. May devise new and or alternative selling strategies to handle key complex accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiates large complex contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Creates networks internally and externally within and outside own sales area.<\/li>\n<li>Creates new solutions\/perspectives on existing solutions to address most complex problems<\/li>\n<li>Builds executive relationships within client base \u2013 articulates Cisco product and business strategies, creates the demand and leads customer discussions to advance the sales process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures a high degree of Customer satisfaction with Cisco products and services<\/li>\n<li>Develops and delivers accurate revenue forecasts in line with business objectives. Interacts with other Cisco teams (CX, Cisco Capital, Verticals), to effectively build the Cisco value proposition<\/li>\n<li>Creates integrated solutions to address most complex problems \u2013 Cisco unique selling proposition.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on client relationship management and customer satisfaction within the account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who You\u2019ll Work With<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cisco seeks an Account Manager with strong experience of selling to large Telco\u2019s and Service Providers.<\/li>\n<li>This team is forging and growing the channel relationships as well as direct touch with tier 1 accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are<\/strong><br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years sales experience of the service provider environment<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of the service provider sector<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Passion for telecommunications and the future of telecommunication<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel local and abroad depending on customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Cisco product and solutions knowledge and experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong business insight<\/li>\n<li>General Service provider technical knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Languages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English and French<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Need to have relationships within service provider space.<\/li>\n<li>Strong selling skills in a complex matrix environment \u2013 selling to technical people.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter<\/li>\n<li>Drive team targets<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Perceived as partner to our customers.<\/li>\n<li>Highly respected in the industry<\/li>\n<li>Executive level relationship management skills (minimum CIO\/ CTO level)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates effective use of internal relationships and resources.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-tasking ability<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills (commercial and technical)<\/li>\n<li>Influencing skills at all levels from the board room level to the buyer<\/li>\n<li>Source of service provider expertise to their clients<\/li>\n<li>Understand client needs and ability to research client environment<\/li>\n<li>Identify solutions for their clients<\/li>\n<li>Actively crafts business opportunities for Cisco Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cisco Nigeria \u2013 It has never been a better time; to lead, inspire and innovate.
