We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Category Controller, West Africa<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Number:<\/strong> 1910690<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job:<\/strong> Category Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><br \/>\nIn line with the job purpose, key accountabilities will entail the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide financial analysis and decision support to the Category Managers on financial matters that impact short term results and strategic decisions<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve A&amp;C expenditures and ensure that the appropriate spending and budgetary controls are in place<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong linkages to Area Commercial Leads<\/li>\n<li>Together with the Category marketing leads and their counterparts, facilitate open and timely communication of financial results and brand\/category challenges and issues to the Category and Area\/geographic management (general and financial management)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence and compliance to internal policies and guidelines in relevant areas.<\/li>\n<li>Direct the financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes, including AC, Forecasts and reporting on actual results<\/li>\n<li>Prepare in-depth and insightful analysis of business results, including the identification of opportunities and risks together with recommendations for actions to address them<\/li>\n<li>Review major marketing proposals (e.g. NPD proposals, promotion spend, A&amp;C spending, price increases, etc.) and challenge assumptions to ensure most effective use of resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nIn order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial controlling \/ FP&amp;A experience of at least 5<\/li>\n<li>2 years experience managing people<\/li>\n<li>ACA professional qualification or some similar relevant qualification.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to this, the candidate should display influential, accountable, adaptable behaviour and have high drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Obligations<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is expected that you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out the role accountabilities within the operating and process frameworks that apply to the company<\/li>\n<li>Work together with all your peers and partners<\/li>\n<li>A key part of your performance review each year will be based on their input<\/li>\n<li>Exemplify the company\u2019s Higher Purpose &amp; Values in practice \u2013 this will be a key part of your annual development cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/mondelez.taleo.net\/careersection\/mdlz_global_external\/jobdetail.ftl?job=1910690&amp;src=SNS-12680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mondelez International LLC is a whole new company that has been re-imagined with a single focus in mind: create delicious moments of joy by sharing the world\u2019s favorite brands.
