\"worldbank\"The World Bank<\/strong> needs the services of a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist<\/strong>, to be based in Abuja Nigeria under quality assurance unit. \u00a0This is a two year Term appointment to be located at the World Bank’s office in Abuja Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is expected to work closely with the country teams to strengthen results management, under the management of the AFTRL Sector Manager and guidance of the AFCS2 Country Director.<\/p>\n

Specifically, He\/She would report jointly to the AFTRL Lead M&E Specialist and HD Sector Leathe in the Bank\u2019s matrix environment.\u00a0 He\/She would spend 70% of time on Humane Development projects in the portfolio and 30% on other sectors<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n

Providing advisory support in all aspects of monitoring and evaluation for operations, including developing results frameworks, designing monitoring and evaluation systems for Bank-supported operations, supervising the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems, and providing guidance on retrofitting ISRs and monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects under implementation to capture Bank wide core indicators;<\/p>\n
