We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Draftsman Engineer \u2013 Steel Fabrication &amp; Construction Industry<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timely preparation of workshop drawings<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Bill of Quantity \u2013 BOQ<\/li>\n<li>Prepare program of works<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Method Statements for fabrication and erection works<\/li>\n<li>Visit Project site to give correct and accurate report<\/li>\n<li>Attend project meetings with Client from time to time<\/li>\n<li>Work with production to ensure the correct fabrication, erection and construction is done in line with the job drawing<\/li>\n<li>Prepare material list in compliance to quantity, quality and Clients needs<\/li>\n<li>Take physical measurements, calculations and observations and report same for correction and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Document all project drawings, client\u2019s needs, review and amendment<\/li>\n<li>Send project progress report to all concerns daily, weekly and monthly as require from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 \u2013 10 years experience in steel fabrication and construction industry<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret shop and engineering drawings<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, planning and organisation skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Superior management and delegation capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Sound technical knowledge of project drawings and interpretations<\/li>\n<li>Issued project drawings to Factory Manager &amp; QAQC and co-ordinate implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Participate to supervise fabrication and construction jobs in line with approve drawings<\/li>\n<li>Timely preparation of workshop Industry<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and construction regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate agreement terms, manage construction contract drafts, bid on projects, and obtain permits to analyze and mitigate risks.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client\u2019s needs and wants are efficiently met.<\/li>\n<li>Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the customer\u2019s requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the project process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of the technical department staff activities in relation to generating project drawings, B.O.Q., tender submission and material take offs (MTO).<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of company projects from inception to completion at site<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the company drive in the implementation of the ISO 9001 and Quality Management System (QMS).<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of workshop drawings for various projects.<\/li>\n<li>Checks and approve construction workshop drawings of all projects for compliance with client\u2019s specifications and standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership, project, and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, planning and organisation skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player and ability to problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Superior management and delegation capabilities<\/li>\n<li>High level of financial responsibilities preferred<\/li>\n<li>Sound technical knowledge of project drawings and interpretations<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical and Civil Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification will be added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>5 \u2013 10 years experience in fabrication and construction industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Dimensional Control Engineer- Steel Fabrication &amp; Construction<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain drawings from Technical department for understanding and interpretation.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct all testing procedures or method statements related to dimension on products.<\/li>\n<li>Carried out all required dimensional checks hold points.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the identification and control of non-conformity<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain dimension control inspection quality plan<\/li>\n<li>Monitor to certify required dimension reports are completed<\/li>\n<li>Carry out dimensional survey in line with the clients specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Review approve Construction\/fabrication Drawings and specification for tolerance.<\/li>\n<li>Check all fitted items prior to and after welding activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure dimensional checking of all fitted items after welding activities are concluded on a timely basis.<\/li>\n<li>Collect accurate data on dimensional inspection parameters and reproducing them in appropriate format.<\/li>\n<li>Administer strict compliance to Drawings and Specifications<\/li>\n<li>Minimize or eliminate dimensional quality defects on projects.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting dimensional activities to the factory manager on a regular
