Our clients are often well-known brands, and many have broad international reach.<\/li>\n<li>We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you\u2019ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients\u2019 information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Manager, you\u2019ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage financial audits of medium and large scale Organisations e.g Banks, insurance companies and Pension funds using International Standards on Auditing (ISA)<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage financial audits of multinational Organisations e.g banks, insurance companies and pension funds using International Standards on Auditing (ISA)<\/li>\n<li>Manage accounting advisory and other assurance engagements<\/li>\n<li>Manage teams on the field during Assurance engagements, typically coordinating more than one engagement team at a time.<\/li>\n<li>Support PwC\u2019s training and risk management functions<\/li>\n<li>Involve in Practice management and business development activities<\/li>\n<li>Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working even during times of change and uncertainty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be working in a consulting\/Audit firm \u2013 6-8 years\u2019 professional experience in external audit of organisations in the financial services sector (e.g Banks, insurance companies and Pension funds) ; with a minimum of 1 year in a managerial role.<\/li>\n<li>Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm\u2019s\/client\u2019s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on developing a perspective on key global trends, including globalisation, and how they impact the firm and our clients.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties<\/li>\n<li>Focus on upholding the firm\u2019s code of ethics and business conduct.<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills when working at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Possess the ability and maturity to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty.<\/li>\n<li>ACA\/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Have deep technical knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant International Financial Reporting Standards<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate an understanding of regulatory pronouncements that are applicable to banks, Investment companies and other Financial services companies<\/li>\n<li>Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of your comfort zone<\/li>\n<li>A passion for delivering an exceptional client service and building trusted relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform and deliver on multiple commitments concurrently with ease and professionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/pwc_africa.recruitmentplatform.com\/nigeria-careers-site\/UK\/details.html?nPostingID=4152&amp;nPostingTargetID=64367&amp;option=52&amp;sort=DESC&amp;respnr=1&amp;ID=PRSFK026203F3VBQB796GLOPS&amp;Resultsperpage=10&amp;lg=UK&amp;mask=nigeriacareerssite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 18th October, 2019<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems.
