We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Access\/Fragility Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nProject Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Northern Nigeria Education Initiative Plus (NEI+) project works to improve the quality of and access to education in Northern Nigeria, equitably and sustainably.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Access and Fragility Specialist provides the overall technical expertise on the expansion of access-related activities, including risk reduction and safety, gender-based violence, equitable education services, education and conflict analysis, non- formal education, well-being, psychosocial support and ensuring activities are conflict-sensitive and do no harm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting &amp; Supervision:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position is housed in Abuja, Nigeria, reporting to the Senior Educational Access\/Fragility Specialist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp;Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires a Master\u2019s Degree in Education.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate is also responsible for some monitoring and evaluation, with at least five years\u2019 technical experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and results-based management.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be professionally proficient and fluent in written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>At least eight years of experience in the education sector, with at least five years of a leadership role in a conflict or crisis-affected country context.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must demonstrate at least five years of relevant technical experience working with activities that are of a similar scope to this activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze and address barriers to educational access and participation;<\/li>\n<li>Assess issues of supply and demand for education options\/services;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct analysis and assessment of education needs in emergencies;<\/li>\n<li>Integrate a conflict-sensitive approach to education,<\/li>\n<li>Lead preparation of activity designs; adapting rapidly changing activity designs;<\/li>\n<li>Implement successful strategies to combat school-related gender-based violence;<\/li>\n<li>Implement risk reduction and psychosocial well-being activities, and other related areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their updated Resume\/CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruiting@crea-neiplus.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruiting@crea-neiplus.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with \u201cAccess\/Fragility Specialist\u201d in the email Subject line.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 28th October, 2019<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only finalists will be contacted.
