We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement &amp; Logistic Assistant \u2013 Northern Nigeria Education Initiative Plus (NEI+)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Bauchi<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Northern Nigeria Education Initiative Plus (NEI+) project works to improve the quality of and access to education in Northern Nigeria, equitably and sustainably.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting&amp; Supervision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position is housed in Bauchi, Nigeria, reporting to the State Team Leader.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of State Team Leader, she\/he will be responsible to ensure timely, cost effective and safe delivery of goods and services to clients and to assist in the implementation of well-coordinated procurement and logistics activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>His\/her duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare all necessary documentation for handling logistics of goods and services procured in accordance with Creative\/USAID rules and regulations, and any other documents as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake field missions when required;<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of relevant products\/services market developments;<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the records on procurement process and related documents and files to ensure transparency and accountability;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in scheduled updating of the procurement express portal regularly<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a database of goods in movement and deliveries completed;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring deliverables under contracts awarded and prepare documentation for review by the procurement team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Logistic Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Logistics &amp; Procurement Officer in managing daily vehicle movement for the office<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all rented vehicles are in good working conditions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all NEI Plus owned and rented vehicles are using NEI Pius log sheet record properly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all NEI Plus Drivers have valid driving licenses at all the times<\/li>\n<li>Update general inventory list timely as soon as new assets are procured<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all Creative NEI Plus project assets are given unique tagged number<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Logistics &amp;Procurement Officer in conducting periodic physical verification\/tracking of the assets on quarterly basis<\/li>\n<li>Send inventory report to the Logistic and Procurement Officer on quarterly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Support other office operations as assigned by supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>College Degree in Purchasing or related field<\/li>\n<li>2+ years experience in procurement and Administration<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Planning and scheduling skills;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a USG or donor funded project or NGO preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a culturally diverse staff, clients and consultants<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, take initiative and ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality<\/li>\n<li>English fluency including business terminology required<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their updated Resume\/CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruiting@crea-neiplus.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruiting@crea-neiplus.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using \u201cProcurement &amp; Logistic Assistant\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 28th October, 2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only finalists will be contacted.
