We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head, Research<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Objective(s)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Position Holder is responsible for providing oversight over the research \/ analysis of securities data target industries, markets, and capital markets, with the aim of providing own audience with a robust evidence-base in making investment decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of cognate experience in similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from accredited university.<\/li>\n<li>MBA or other advanced degree in finance.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualifications in finance, and investment management (e.g. CIS, CFA, ACCA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research: Oversees the collection of market data &amp; trend-spotting on various classes of security instruments, and their transformation into actionable information through fundamental, technical, and quantitative analysis, presented in periodic research notes with the aim of supporting investment decision-making by both internal teams (i.e. client relations, &amp; proprietary trading desks), and the company\u2019s clientele (retail and institutional). The Position Holder is also responsible for providing analytical support in the production, and maintenance of marketing collaterals for the securities business.<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio Optimization: Lead detailed, and extensive analysis of investment portfolios to both internal teams, and the company\u2019s clientele with the aim of driving their effective decision-making in deriving maximum return, and minimizing costs like financial costs within the context of constraints such as regulations, taxes, and transaction costs.<\/li>\n<li>Support Business Development Activities: Develop customized marketing documents, and research for the purpose of sales pitches to prospective institutional clients. The Position Holder is also expected to actively participate in the firm\u2019s sales roadshows to both local, and foreign institutional clients, as well as in presentations to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Initiatives: Responsible for driving the implementation of strategic initiatives that sustain \/ improve the organization\u2019s competitive advantage within its operating environment.<\/li>\n<li>Product Development: Contribute to the creation, or modification the company\u2019s product offerings with the objective of providing new or additional benefits to customers, as well as enhancing the company\u2019s competitiveness and market dominance.<\/li>\n<li>Supports Team\u2019s Development: Provides advice, guidance, and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.<\/li>\n<li>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as prescribed by the Managing Director, ARM Securities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationships:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Functionally reports to: Managing Director, ARM Securities<\/li>\n<li>Administratively reports to: Managing Director, ARM Securities<\/li>\n<li>Supervises: Research Analysts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/apply.workable.com\/armcareers\/j\/B79EB855DC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARM is a leading group of companies situated in Nigeria with branches scattered across the country.
