IITA is a member of CGIAR, a global agriculture research partnership for a food secure future. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Snack Bar Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref:<\/strong> IITA-HR-NRS2019-039<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Recruitment Type:<\/strong> National (3-year renewable contract)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><br \/>\nSuccessful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all Snack Bar &amp; Cappa Bar operations<\/li>\n<li>Assist management in revenue generation<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Head Chef to maintain quality control for all food served<\/li>\n<li>Conduct daily, weekly, monthly stock take of beverages and report accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer\u2019s experience<\/li>\n<li>Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, cleaning products and order accordingly with the Stores<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and be accountable for beverage service during events<\/li>\n<li>Perform additional related duties as requested by the HOSTRAS management.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards<\/li>\n<li>Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs<\/li>\n<li>Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports for the Resident Manager<\/li>\n<li>Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Assign duties to staff and coordinate the weekly roster<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service, respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc\/HND in Hospitality and Management, Hotel and Catering or related fields with minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience performing related roles in a well-structured hospitality management environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have ability to use restaurant management software,<\/li>\n<li>Have good working knowledge of food and beverage services.<\/li>\n<li>Have very pleasant personality and strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Be a good team player and honest<\/li>\n<li>Have good communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We offer highly competitive salary with equally attractive benefits and excellent working conditions in a pleasant campus environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested applicants should complete the online application attaching detailed cover letter and curriculum vitae saved with their names in Microsoft word format.
