We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Operations<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electronic banking operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical\u00a0Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detailed knowledge of\u00a0Banking\u00a0procedures and policy principles at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Ability to translate local regulatory requirements into a thorough\u00a0knowledge of Operational routine in Banks<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of\u00a0Cash Management,\u00a0Account Services,\u00a0Clearing\u00a0and\u00a0Payment\u00a0functions<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of Treasury Operations and Trade Finance<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and application of Best Practice in all areas of Operational Banking with ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning \/ optimisation and process implementation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to recognise problems and apply Risk Management techniques to address them<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan &amp; prepare the strategy and annual budget requirements for the operational environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning, organisational and time management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Leadership, team management, developing and mentoring<\/li>\n<li>Metrics-driven mindset<\/li>\n<li>High-level influencing and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Job Responsibilities\/Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and review key operational risk indicators\/key control standards and\u00a0formulate\u00a0action plans to minimize the Bank\u2019s exposure to fraud and losses.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to\u00a0Banking Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that effective documentation is in place, in the form of user guides and implement operational improvements to reduce operational costs, tighten controls to improve service quality and customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Banking Operations Department (staff and budget).<\/li>\n<li>Central Operations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Account Services, Clearings, Payments, Cash Management and Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Card Operations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Account Services, Chargeback &amp; Fraud &amp; Reconciliation of the Bank\u2019s debit card activities<\/li>\n<li>Trade Finance Operations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Import \/ Export LC\u2019s, Supply Chain Finance and Invoice Discounting<\/li>\n<li>Treasury Operations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Forex, Money Market and Derivative Products, FI Transaction\u00a0activity\u00a0and 3rd Party\u00a0Funds \/ Investment processing<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Bank\u2019s operational risk exposure by supporting the Business to identify areas of operational risk exposure and by developing and implementing corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and keep updated the Banks\u2019 Operations Manual and ensure compliance to all operational guidelines,\u00a0processes\u00a0and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for re-engineering business processes to improve customer service, cost-effectiveness and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Credit Operations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Loan sanction fulfilment, &amp;
