{"id":80705,"date":"2019-12-12T14:46:02","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T13:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=80705"},"modified":"2019-12-11T15:08:39","modified_gmt":"2019-12-11T14:08:39","slug":"ebonyi-state-ministry-works-transport-recent-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ebonyi-state-ministry-works-transport-recent-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"The Ebonyi State Ministry of Works and Transport Recent Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Ebonyi State Ministry of Works and Transport now invites an eligible consulting firm (Consultant) to\u00a0indicate\u00a0their interest in providing the Services below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications are invited\u00a0for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Title: Consultancy Services for the Design Review and Supervision of the Ebonyi State Ring Road\u00a0Project.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No.:<\/strong> EBRRP\/CS\/QCBS\/19\/01<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ebonyi<br \/>\n<strong>Name of Project:<\/strong> Abakaliki Ring Road Project<br \/>\n<strong>Sector:<\/strong> Road Transport<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background\u00a0Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) towards the\u00a0cost\u00a0for the Abakaliki Ring Road Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services for the\u00a0Preconstruction\u00a0Activities and Supervision of Section I:135 Ohaukwu \u2013 Onueke Road (35.48 Km), Section II: Onueke \u2013\u00a0Nwezenyi\u00a0(52.42 Km) of the Abakaliki Ring Road Project.<\/li>\n<li>Therefore, the consulting services (\u201cThe Services\u201d) includes the design review and supervision, of Section I:135 Ohaukwu \u2013 Onueke Road (35.48 1km), Section II: Onueke \u2013\u00a0Nwezenyi\u00a0(52.42 Km)of Abakaliki Ring Road Project.<\/li>\n<li>The Ebonyi State Ring Road Project\u00a0Objective\u00a0is to contribute to socio-economic development, poverty reduction through improved road transport infrastructure to reduce road maintenance costs, vehicle operating cost and travel time. An Engineering Design Firm had been engaged to prepare detailed Engineering Design.<\/li>\n<li>The Ebonyi State Ministry of Works &amp; Transport now invites eligible consulting firms (\u201cConsultants\u201d) to\u00a0indicate\u00a0their interest in providing the\u00a0Services. Interested Consultants should provide information\u00a0demonstrating\u00a0that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of the similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of\u00a0appropriate\u00a0skills among staff, etc.). The\u00a0shortlisting\u00a0criteria are: (Please note that Key Experts will not\u00a0be evaluated\u00a0at the\u00a0shortlisting\u00a0stage):<\/li>\n<li>General Experience of\u00a0consulting\u00a0firm in\u00a0the field of\u00a0specialty<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of registration with relevant authorities and professional bodies<\/li>\n<li>Evidence showing that firm is a legal entity<\/li>\n<li>Evidence showing technical and managerial capabilities of the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of delivering similar assignments<\/li>\n<li>The attention of interested Consultants is drawn\u00a0to Paragraph 1.23 and 1.24 of the Guidelines for Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (Procurement Guidelines), setting forth\u00a0IsDB\u2019s policy on conflict of interest.<\/li>\n<li>Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.<\/li>\n<li>A Consultant will be selected\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0the Quality Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Procurement Guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified consultant(s) may\u00a0obtain\u00a0further information and also deliver their Expression of Interest in a written form (in person, or by mail, or by fax, or by e-mail) during office hours (09:00 to 17:00 hours) (local time) to<br \/>\nExpressions of interest must\u00a0be delivered\u00a0in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by fax, or by e-mail)<br \/>\n<strong>State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU),<br \/>\nEbonyi State Ring Road Project (EBRRP),<br \/>\nMinistry of Works &amp; Transport<br \/>\nNo 1 Onwe Road,\u00a0Abakaliki,<br \/>\nEbonyi State,\u00a0Nigeria,<br \/>\nAttention: Engr.
