We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Branch Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Warri, Delta<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role is responsible to the Accounting Manager \u2013 Management Accounts, for the effective and efficient management of Warri accounts such\u00a0as:\u00a0Cash management, debt collection, expenses control, bookkeeping, banking operations and audit activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure prudent financial cash management of the branch.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the Regional Manager\u2013East on matters affecting the smooth operations of the branch.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a register for customers and staff cheque payments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prompt posting of receipts and other accounting vouchers.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of debtors accounts through mark off.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that approval to release equipment\u00a0is obtained\u00a0from the Credit Manager and or Finance Director before equipment\u00a0are released\u00a0to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the attainment of effective debt collection and interpretation of credit control policies laid down by the company.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective, accurate stock control and bookkeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective banking operations and rendition of reconciliation statements to the headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out administrative functions as\u00a0may be\u00a0required from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a clean audit report of the branch.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the security and maintenance of the company\u2019s assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0Bachelors\u2019\u00a0degree or\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0equivalent in the\u00a0Business Management\u00a0discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a related role.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Ms Office packages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=Edm5hX4blEWUk5F1Iu1hTa2GW4Q5ID5IiTKKskprdnBURjQ5V1ZTNk9GOFRHNk1PUjM1Tjk5WVNZNS4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 13th December, 2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: That shortlisted candidates will\u00a0be contacted\u00a0via email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mantrac\u00a0is the sole distributor for Caterpillar products in Nigeria, distributing and supporting machinery, power systems and material-handling equipment.
