In addition to Nigeria, the Norwegian Embassy in Abuja is also covering Benin, Togo and Cameroon. We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Personal Assistant (PA) to the Ambassador<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong> Terms of Employment:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Abuja has five diplomats and eight local employees. The PA to the ambassador is retiring, and the embassy is seeking her replacement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Norway has strong political ties with Nigeria, comprehensive business relations and administer a development programme as well as humanitarian assistance to Nigeria. The Embassy is also accredited to Cameroon, Benin and Togo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are currently\u00a0looking for a well-organised and flexible individual with strong inter-personal skills for the position of PA to the ambassador. The PA will be part of the Embassy\u2019s Administrative Team. The main responsibilities will be\u00a0as follows:<\/li>\n<li>Arrange and prepare meetings for the ambassador<\/li>\n<li>Organize and convene other engagements for the ambassador and other embassy staff<\/li>\n<li>Make travel arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and maintain good relations with Government agencies, other Embassies and the UN system<\/li>\n<li>Event organizer<\/li>\n<li>Help prepare and organize official and social functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in relevant disciplines for the position.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from similar positions.
