Consolidated Breweries PLC<\/strong> is a\u00a0Nigerian brewery. It is majority owned by\u00a0Heineken since 2004. They are the third largest brewer in the country, and concentrate on the low-priced end of the market.\u00a0They have two running production sites. The biggest in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state. The smaller in Awo Omamma, Imo state.<\/p>\n

CONSOLIDATED BREWERIES PLC CAREERS,
\nPOSITION: CONTROLLER<\/p>\n

THE ROLE<\/strong>
\nThe successful candidate for this position will be based in one of our brewery locations and will be responsible for analysis of costs and efficiencies. He\/she will support and assist Line Managers on finance and analytical matters in order to reach their targets and achieve the overall objectives of the company. He\/she will report to the Control Manager.<\/p>\n

JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\nThe ideal candidate should have (or meet) the following:
\nMinimum of BSC degree, second class honours (lower division) in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or other Finance-related disciplines.
\nProfessional qualification (ACCA or ACA) is a major advantage
\nExperience in a planning and control department of a large manufacturing organization for not less than 3 years
\nNot more than 45 years old as at 1st January, 2011
\n
\nGRADUATE TRAINEES
\nTHE ROLE<\/strong>
\nThe Trainee will undergo an intensive training program in any of our locations, tailored towards specific roles for a definite period. Successful candidates must be ready to take on task and assignments in any of the company\u2019s locations.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS
\nThe ideal candidate should have (or meet) the following
\nBsc degree with a minimum of second honours (lower division) or HND (Upper Credit) in any of the following courses: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Brewing Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, any of the Social Sciences, Finance and Finance-related disciplines.
\nNot more than 27 years old as at 1st January, 2011<\/p>\n

GENERAL REQUIREMENT FOR BOTH VACANCIES:
\nAbility to work computer systems and softwares e.g Ms Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and the Internet
\nGood team-player
\n\u201cHands on\u201d attitude and disposition
\nEvidence of having participated in the NYSC scheme or Exemption
\nResilience and ability to work under pressure
\nWillingness to work in any of the locations in Nigeria where we have operations<\/p>\n

REMUNERATION: Remuneration attach to each position is line with the existing rates in the industry<\/p>\n
