We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Outdoor\u00a0Brodcast\u00a0(OB) Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are looking for suitably qualified applicants with 3-5years broadcast experience with competencies in the following Engineering discipline, resident in Abuja and ready to work in any part of the country:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Satellite\/RF Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Broadcast Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Power\/Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operation, testing and maintenance of all broadcast equipment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure and take corrective measures for optimum broadcast quality<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with Assignment desk for DSNG deployment and preparation of daily utilization reports.<\/li>\n<li>Periodic maintenance of transmitter and other RF device\/equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Installation and maintenance of microwave links Radio Links and Satellite dishes.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of internal CATV distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Technical maintenance of all\u00a0the\u00a0electrical\u00a0installation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper power supply to all connected loads as per electrical standards and take remedial action against faults.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of new electrical connections as per needs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with the service providers and maintenance contractors\u2019 support team for uninterrupted electrical supply to all loads, optimum working of Diesel Generators, air-conditioning units, UPS and Electrical Distribution Panels and for any replacement of defective parts.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain\u00a0inventory\u00a0of electrical gadgets and accessories and escalate against\u00a0shortfall\u00a0of buffer stock.<\/li>\n<li>Set up, operate and maintain all outdoor production\/broadcast equipment using DSNG vans and satellite Flyaway kits in coordination with Assignment desk and HOD.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with R.F Engineer for optimum uplink and downlink using the DSNG vans\/Flyaway kits.<\/li>\n<li>Fault escalation to the HOD for repairs of faulty equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of daily logs of use of the DSNG vans\/Flyaway kits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Critical Qualifications\/Skills\/Experience (IPE Factor: Knowledge)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical skill<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skill<\/li>\n<li>Team spirit<\/li>\n<li>Organizing<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and ability to multi-task and<\/li>\n<li>Timeliness<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in outdoor media broadcasting<\/li>\n<li>First degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics Electronic, TV Engineering or its equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of four (4) to five (5) years\u2019 experience in TV\/Radio Station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/tvccommunications.tv\/career\/ob-techician\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>24th\u00a0January, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TVC Communications is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading broadcast companies operating market-leading channels including TVC, TVC News Channel, Max 102.3 Lagos,\u00a0Adaba\u00a0FM Ondo and TVC Digital.
