We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internal Audit Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> sfh-65062<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance &amp; Accounts<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Duration:<\/strong> One-year (renewable)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidate will perform the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review financial activities of the project to ensure compliance to contract terms, donor rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will audit field offices to ensure compliance to policies and complete documentation relating to the donor policies.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct a semi-annual review of operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as per SFH and donor rules on financial reporting, procurement, payroll, etc.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will assist in the mid-year and annual stock count and fixed asset count.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will investigate any fraud-related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess a first degree in Accounting or any related field of study.<\/li>\n<li>Must have five (5) years\u2019 experience in internal audit or NGO Finance &amp; Project Management.<\/li>\n<li>Registered membership of ACA or ACCA or any other related professional body will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competency required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse financial matters, resolve issues promptly and accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and sound independent judgement.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must have demonstrated proficiency using intermediate-level office software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheets and database.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience using ERP (SAP) or financial management MIS will an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sfhnigeria.simplicant.com\/jobs\/32420-position-internal-audit-officer-based-in-abuja\/detail\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>7th February, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Society for Family Health (SFH) is one of the leading non-governmental public health organisations in Nigeria, implementing programmes in Reproductive Health\/Family Planning, HIV &amp; AIDS prevention and treatment, malaria prevention&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
