We intend to provide support for our service users where we engage them in various psychological therapies and other complimentary activities which in the long term equips them with a more realistic and flexible form of recovery. We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Accounts<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Field:\u00a0<\/strong>Finance \/ Accounting \/ Audit<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Medical Director<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for day-to-day finance and\u00a0accounts\u00a0operations<\/li>\n<li>Provide managerial and oversight for all accounting functions in the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide accurate, timely periodic financial statements to management.<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction to accounting department staff.<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight of assets and finances of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Manages overall responsibility for accounting-related information from various centres.<\/li>\n<li>Oversight may include monitoring purchases compared to the budget, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and capital expenditures\/equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of all cash accounts and monitoring of cash receipts and disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate\u00a0performance and professional development of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the\u00a0management of the overall\u00a0operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0organization policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting\u00a0etc.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises end-of-period processes and\u00a0supports\u00a0the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Management and coordination of activities relating to Vendors\/Procurement.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for timely monthly\u00a0consolidated\u00a0financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to management<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and\u00a0early-warning\u00a0of cost-overruns.<\/li>\n<li>Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Review &amp; approve payment vouchers &amp; journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the Maintenance and reconciliation of Goods Receipts\/ Invoice Receipt Account.<\/li>\n<li>Create and enhance financial policies and procedures across the accounting department as well as the wider Finance department.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures consistency in procedures and policies across the accounting department and that these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the business\u2019s overall goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Leads compliance with the business\u2019s internal corporate framework policies and finance manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly evaluating of un-applied Advance Payment to determine the risk level.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances<\/li>\n<li>Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Develops reports on all accounting related matters inclusive of taxation matters. These reports accompany pro-active advice and recommendations on the business\u2019s financial approaches from an accounting and taxation perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate and oversee the implementation of the company\u2019s accounting policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure completeness and accuracy of the company\u2019s records (e.g. Clients, Suppliers, Banks, Employees, Management, Government and its relevant agencies etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty assigned by the Medical Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of M.Sc in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>First Degree must be in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Certified member of ICAN\/ACCA<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4- 5 years\u2019 core experience in accounting\/management account<\/li>\n<li>Excellent strategic planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and highly meticulous.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead and manage a team effectively<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Oracle Financials or any other financial software<\/li>\n<li>Must be resident in Abuja<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should forward their CV\u00a0to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@theoliveprime.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>recruitment@theoliveprime.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title and Location as the subject of the mail.\u00a0e.g\u00a0Head of Accounts-Abuja.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>10th\u00a0February, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>The subject of the email should be &#8221; Head of Accounts- Abuja &#8221; failure to abide by this would lead to automatic disqualification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Olive Prime\u00a0Psychological Services\u00a0&#8211; We are a new \u201cmental health facility\u201d based in Abuja, currently\u00a0looking for the best hands that can provide excellent and client focused services.
