We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Network Engineer &#8211; PS Core \/ MBPN Optimization<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> 329986<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Categories:<\/strong> Network Operation and Integration<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Performance &amp; Optimization of the Packet Core Switch \/ MPBN \/ IP Transport Network by ensuring good Quality of Service (QoS) and Customer Experience across the network.<\/li>\n<li>Define Key Performance Indicators formulae and measurement processes &amp; set performance standards targets within the PS Core \/ MPBN domain.<\/li>\n<li>2G\/3G\/4G data and IP systems dimensioning, design, optimization and acceptance of the following but limited nodes:\n<ul>\n<li>SGSN\/MME<\/li>\n<li>GGSN\/S-GW &amp; P-GW<\/li>\n<li>PCRF<\/li>\n<li>Firewall &amp; DNS<\/li>\n<li>I-Cache &amp; Video Optimization (VO)<\/li>\n<li>Site Routers &amp; Switches<\/li>\n<li>Border Routers &amp; Switches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Provide insights and reports on the PS-Core network performance<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the impact of change due to new technology, node upgrades and new features added to the PS Core network.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in customer projects, handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical \/ Electronic, Telecommunication or related fields)<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of multi technology experience in Radio Networks Design Strategic Planning, and Solutions<\/li>\n<li>Network Asset \/ Business productivity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Network Audit and functionality testing<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of PS Core and IP Transport Planning, Optimization, Performance<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of PS Core network architecture interfaces and standards<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of data traffic routing and addressing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of wider trends in the international and local telecoms industry<\/li>\n<li>Understand principles of software development and Traffic Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge about IP Networks and monitoring tools<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of advanced and complex radio networks and should be able to assist with advanced Planning and creative design solutions<\/li>\n<li>Must have customer facing and engagement experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship development with customer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-motivated.
