We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Engineering Utilities Team Leader<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Number:<\/strong> 23865<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Function:<\/strong> Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Level:<\/strong> Non-management<br \/>\n<strong>Appointment Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This work involves the controlling, operating or maintaining of engineering\/utilities machines within the engineering department\u00a0in order\u00a0to support the manufacturing department to manufacture products on time and in full according to specified quality standards and at optimum cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate the utilities \/ engineering equipment according to the standard operating procedures in order to continuously make the equipment to be 100% available according to standard maintenance practices in all or multiple equipment layout within the department;<\/li>\n<li>Check that that multiple equipment has a maintenance plan\/schedule in conformance to manufacturer\u2019s standards;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct daily and weekly cleaning maintenance schedule according to prescribed procedures to ensure efficient machine performance;<\/li>\n<li>Complete relevant documents\/checklists as prescribed in order to ensure availability of accurate maintenance data;<\/li>\n<li>Apply EHS procedures and good practices in order to prevent personal injuries and damage to equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a prompt end of shift report of all Technical issues preventing the machines in his domain from achieving optimum performance;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out a comprehensive maintenance job with necessary supervision and controlling of other team members to achieve this aim;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pass the technical proficiency test, and shows a high level of hands on skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform routine maintenance on all available Engineering\/Utilities P, M &amp; E (Plant, Machinery &amp; Equipment);<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that planned maintenance is effectively implemented, in a timely and cost-effective manner and optimization of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience on utilities plants and equipment in a fast-moving consumer goods environment will serve as an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Engineering or any related field;<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles;<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of standards of good practice, mechanical\/electrical drawings and schematics;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to gather and interpret technical data;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in fault finding\/troubleshooting;<\/li>\n<li>Decision making and problem-solving capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Not Specified<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British American Tobacco is all about freedom of choice &#8211; whether it\u2019s our people or our products.
