We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Psychologist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Code:<\/strong> MS02600<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Pulka, Gwoza LGA, Borno<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> Mental Health Activity Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Report to (functional):<\/strong> Mental Health Activity Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Area:<\/strong> Medical &amp; Paramedical<br \/>\n<strong>Working Hours:<\/strong> 48 per week<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Duration:<\/strong> Six Month Renewable<br \/>\n<strong>Level:<\/strong> 7<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing psychological support to patients according to MSF principles, standards and procedures\u00a0in order\u00a0to improve the patients\u2019 mental health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carrying out\u00a0evaluation\u00a0of mental health needs of patients and\u00a0establishing\u00a0a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Informing the patient and his\/her relatives about the\u00a0possible\u00a0consequences of the illness and the drug treatment to follow and referring patients to other health professionals whenever necessary,\u00a0in order\u00a0to provide the most appropriate treatment and improve the patient&#8217;s\u00a0condition<\/li>\n<li>Implementing the Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) protocol, identifying\u00a0possible\u00a0victims of SGBV and referring them to the medical team so\u00a0that\u00a0they receive the\u00a0necessary\u00a0treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Providing psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, group) to patients according to MSF protocols\u00a0in order\u00a0to improve their mental health conditions<\/li>\n<li>Assisting and training staff members and resourceful people whenever necessary\u00a0in order\u00a0to enhance\u00a0the scope of\u00a0MH activities.
