We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Documents financial transactions by entering account information.<\/li>\n<li>Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.<\/li>\n<li>Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.<\/li>\n<li>Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Secures financial information by completing database backups.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains financial security by following internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Complies with Federal, State, and Local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters Degree in Accountancy<\/li>\n<li>ICAN \/ ACCA Certified<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in Corporate Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Good Reporting Skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail<\/li>\n<li>Deadline-Oriented<\/li>\n<li>Reporting Research Results<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Time Management Skills<\/li>\n<li>Data Entry Management<\/li>\n<li>General Math Skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@africavisioncard.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>hr@africavisioncard.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>13th March, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa Vision Card is a Financial Technology corporation that facilitates the timely digital exchange of value between individuals and businesses.
