We are\u00a0recruiting\u00a0to fill the position\u00a0below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sales Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As one of our Sales Managers in Nigeria, you will\u00a0be responsible for generating, qualifying and closing sales leads in Nigeria (primarily) &amp; other West African markets for AZA&#8217;s cross-border payments service.<\/li>\n<li>As the target market is mid-large corporate clients, you must bring a high-value network of key decision-makers in mid-large businesses to this opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>This presents an exciting way to get involved and help take Africa\u2019s leading digital FX company to the next level. We\u2019re looking for someone\u00a0who is\u00a0comfortable in a dynamic, growing startup, and equally comfortable networking with Executives and analyzing sales metrics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Source,\u00a0qualify\u00a0and close sales leads that satisfy internal criteria<\/li>\n<li>Create and execute a sales plan including but not limited to outlining a list of prospective clients and 6-12 month sales projections<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to the sales process set out by the company to\u00a0acquire\u00a0clients<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that new clients\u00a0are won\u00a0and trade large volumes consistently\u00a0(\u00a0&gt; $1million each per month) at profitable rates<\/li>\n<li>Effectively liaise\u00a0with internal and external stakeholders when required, to move deals forward in the sales process (working with Compliance, Finance, or Product)<\/li>\n<li>Set an example of leadership, disciplined work, and cooperative team culture<\/li>\n<li>Develop quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans with specific, measurable goals<\/li>\n<li>Hold meetings with potential clients following the sales process set internally<\/li>\n<li>Keep sales tools updated regularly\u00a0to clearly identify\u00a0status and success during the sales process<\/li>\n<li>Collect data from potential clients and coordinate with internal teams to complete each sale<\/li>\n<li>Flawlessly execute trade requests from new clients and ensure thorough hand-off\u00a0is completed\u00a0to the Account Management Team for repeat clients<\/li>\n<li>Calculate ROI on\u00a0acquired\u00a0clients to measure the success of the sale<\/li>\n<li>Actively\u00a0participate\u00a0in weekly meetings, providing updates and comprehensive weekly\/monthly reports of sales activities and results to key internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seasoned professional with 5 to 7 years&#8217; experience in sales and marketing or financial services, ideally in payments\/money transfer or mobile money in West Africa<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in successfully scaling business for payment companies in West Africa is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Large network of local decision-makers within potential corporate clients<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of developing and closing complex sales deals from the ground up<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, presentation, and listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Creative problem\u00a0solver\u00a0with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize immediate, short-term goals and simultaneously focus on strategic, long-term goals<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite Tools skills along with the willingness and ability to become familiar with company-specific sales tools\/software<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about our mission to redefine how businesses make payments to and from Africa<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to\u00a0be based\u00a0in Lagos and travel within West Africa<\/li>\n<li>University Degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary<\/li>\n<li>Casual work environment<\/li>\n<li>Great work-life balance<\/li>\n<li>We value autonomy<\/li>\n<li>Environmental-friendly (we try to use as less paper as possible!)<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity for growth for all our employees<\/li>\n<li>\u2026and more!.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/1766333769\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Not Specified<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aza Finance (Formerly Known as\u00a0Bipesa) is an established provider of currency trading solutions which\u00a0accelerate\u00a0global access to frontier markets through an innovative infrastructure.
