The workforce is made up of professionals drawn across the world.<\/p>\n<p>Uniterm is under the management of highly technical personnel with combined experience level of 150 years. Uniterm is a member of International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and the management staff are members of various professional bodies around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Uniterm has offices in Portharcourt and Lagos Nigeria, Houston in USA and Calgary in Canada. Uniterm has key Technical Partners in order to continue to use state-of-the-art technology to deliver services. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Rig Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Rivers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review, understanding and comply with the Project Quality Plan\/System and participation in setting worksite safety objectives and key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Review, understand and comply with Emergency Safety Plan and Bridging documentation between client and WOUK management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Review, understanding and comply with project procedures and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Review and understand project schedule and any constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Review and understand principal project contract and commercial conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Review, understand and comply with Project Inspection and Test Plan to ensure all necessary as-built data is collected.<\/li>\n<li>Review, understand and comply with WOUK Management of Change system<\/li>\n<li>Active participation in Safe Job Analysis and Risk Assessments, ensuring identified risks are communicated to the offshore project personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Review and understand roles and responsibilities of subcontractors and their liabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Review and understand roles and responsibilities of third party personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Vessel Master and Chief Engineer to ensure safety of all interfaces between project and marine operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate risk assessment are undertaken, TBRA\u2019s, SJA&#8217;s, Toolbox talks and TOFS. Maintaining close operational communication with the Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Client&#8217;s Representative(s) and Company offshore representative and sub-contractors onboard the vessel.<\/li>\n<li>The implementation of the Company&#8217;s health, safety and environment policy by all WOUK\u00a0 employees and\/or WOUK subcontractors on board the vessel.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that vessel project safety meetings are convened and minuted in accordance with WOUK.<\/li>\n<li>Management System, also attendance at vessel safety meetings by the Rig Manager or his delegates.<\/li>\n<li>Action any corrective measures raised by audits and\/or inspections carried out by Client\/Safety\/QA personnel pertaining to personnel, procedures, the work site and supporting equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Report safety incidents relating to project activities including their classification\u00a0 as per company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience and results-oriented career and\/or B Eng. or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111\/2 respectively;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of HND\/B.Sc. in any Science \/ Engineering Related field.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must have the relevant mandatories (STCW, TBOSIET, HUET, GMDSS, OSP and All other relevant Documents for positions applied for).<\/li>\n<li>Valid IWCF\/Well cap certification, Supervisory level is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>At least 7-15 years of Experience any the field being applied for.<\/li>\n<li>Member of a Professional Body is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates.<\/li>\n<li>Valid International Passport.<\/li>\n<li>Possess basic critical rig equipment training.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Training Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As per Marine Master Training Matrix (HHR-MA-0013).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV in ONLY one attachment (MS Word document) and all other Supporting Documents \/ Certifications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@unitermintl.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>jobs@unitermintl.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0clearly indicating the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of your mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th March, 2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uniterm Nigeria Limited was incorporated in 2004.
