{"id":84457,"date":"2020-03-16T13:16:39","date_gmt":"2020-03-16T12:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=84457"},"modified":"2020-03-16T13:16:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-16T12:16:39","slug":"kis-international-school-latest-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/kis-international-school-latest-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"KIS International School Latest Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KIS International School is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head Teacher<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nTeaching and learning<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and\u00a0differentiated curriculum for ICT and Computing to students age 4 -11<\/li>\n<li>To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the\u00a0opportunity to achieve their individual potential<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to maximizing of student attainment<\/li>\n<li>To share and support the school&#8217;s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that learning is appropriately differentiated so that the learning is well pitched and all pupils are challenged at their current level of understanding<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain a purposeful learning atmosphere<\/li>\n<li>Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils<\/li>\n<li>Use teaching methods which capture pupils&#8217; interest and maintain their engagement through:<\/li>\n<li>Offering rich, captivating learning activities<\/li>\n<li>Setting the highest expectations for all pupils<\/li>\n<li>Clearly establishing a purpose for learning, placing it within a context<\/li>\n<li>Effective questioning that includes open and closed questions, together with the use of probing, supplementary questions<\/li>\n<li>Providing frequent opportunities for pupils to learn through talk and interaction<\/li>\n<li>Stimulating intellectual curiosity and communicating enthusiasm for learning<\/li>\n<li>Matching the teaching approaches used to the subject matter and the age of the pupils being taught<\/li>\n<li>Modelling good language use to children<\/li>\n<li>Modelling good social skills to children<\/li>\n<li>Clear instruction, effective modelling and accurate explanation<\/li>\n<li>Listening carefully to pupils, analysing their responses and responding constructively in order to take their learning forward<\/li>\n<li>Selecting and making good use of ICT and other learning resources which enable learning objectives to be met<\/li>\n<li>Providing opportunities to develop pupils&#8217;
